cozy winter playlist

Winter Playlist

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again–winter is for slow, soft, warm tunes. The more inclined I am to curl up on the couch with a cozy blanket while listening to a song, the better. These playlist posts are always so fun to pull together (I hope you guys like them!), and I found myself listening to this one over and over again at work over the past week–especially “Blood” by The Middle East…I can’t get enough!

Winter 2013 Playlist by abucco10 on Grooveshark

In case you’re curious, next month’s feature will be a double-whammy. Let’s just say there will be a little playlist for all you Valentine’s Day lovers out there–and another for those of you who’d rather scream ”Since You’ve Been Gone” (or, OK–any T. Swift breakup song) at the top of your lungs on a little day we like to call February 14.

Oh, and all past playlists are here!

  • Alison

Love the new look!! It’s beautiful:) thanksnforntheplaylist heading over to spotify today:)

    • Alyssa

Love curling up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and listening to music with a magazine!

    • Alyssa

      Me too! Perfect afternoon :)

  • Julie & Lauren

I think you read my mind with this post. All I do is curl up on the couch with slow songs etc. Sounds sad, but I’m perfectly happy and content! X

    • Alyssa

It sounds perfect–I do the same thing!

  • Rachel

Oh this looks nice …. :) Always fun to listen to a nice playlist at work or at home doing some laundry or reading a magazine!

    • Alyssa

That sounds perfect! Well, not the work part, but the magazine part!

  • Maria

Lua is my absolute favorite Bright Eyes song. Thank you, thank you for this playlist! If only I were snuggled under a quilt instead of sipping my tea at my desk…

    • Alyssa

So true!! Luckily it’s almost the weekend :)

  • Emily

Yes! This will be my morning work music today. Love new music and discovering new artists! (PS – Have you heard of Songza? It’s like Pandora only it’s organized by what you’re doing instead of artist. So you can choose “Laying around on a Sunday” and it will play you music that you’d like for doing that activity. I think you’d like it!)

    Isn’t That Charming.

    • Alyssa

I’ve never heard of Songza–it sounds awesome though. I’ll have to check it out :)

  • RachECakes

    Perfect playlist for today :)
