The time is finally come–I’m off on a beach vacation for a week! It’s bound to be a little quiet around here for the next week, but I have a lot of fun posts coming once I get back.

In the meantime, I’ve rounded up a few things that are an absolute must in my suitcase! There’s an easy dress that can go from day to evening, a few great pairs of shoes and adorable bathing suits for the beach and pool. I always make sure to pack a chambray top–they’re light and perfect to throw on during a cool evening dinning outside. Last but not least is my trusty camera and a few books I’ve recently downloaded on my iPad and can’t wait to read–they are: Bel Canto by Ann Patchett, The Rules of Civility by Amor Towles, On the Road by Jack Kerouac, The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach and Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal by Jeanette Winterson.
